I am a painter, a muralist, and a lifelong native of Arkansas. My creative vision is deeply rooted in my connection to the natural world. Growing up in the rural timberlands of the Arkansas River Delta, the forest became my escape, a space of play, reflection, and discovery. This connection continues to shape my work, where nature often acts as both a subject and a collaborator. My paintings are both playful and symbolic, using vibrant colors to evoke a sense of nostalgia, movement, and memory.

Working large-scale in acrylic is my preferred method of creating. My process typically begins as a digital sketch with collage elements before transforming into a physical space. The setting in which a painting resides often impacts my design, ensuring that my work not only inhabits but also enhances its environment. As a muralist, I am especially drawn to public art’s ability to bring new life into communal spaces across Arkansas, reflecting local identity, history, and forward-facing values.

Having grown up in rural Arkansas, I am keenly aware of the cultural impact my work can have, particularly in underserved spaces. My academic exploration of cultural worldviews, social studies, and the arts has further informed my practice, deepening my understanding of how visual storytelling can bridge personal expression with public engagement.
Recurring themes in my work include resilience and communal connectivity, often depicted through symbolic imagery—animals as guides, birds in murmuration, and landscapes that hold memory and movement.

Through my murals and paintings, I aim to create work that is both visually striking and conceptually resonant. I believe art has the power to transform spaces and strengthen our connection to the world around us. My work is a testament to the stories that shape us, the landscapes that hold us, and the unseen forces that guide us forward.

Erin was an absolute joy. She listened to my idea and then ran with it. She totally nailed the project and I could not be more pleased. Highly recommended for any painting projects!
